A Journey through History
Yoga can be defined many ways from the translation of the Sanskrit word that implies a union, through the many generations of texts. Experience the history of yoga as we take you through a personal journey of the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Pradipika with thorough introspection through the 8 limbs of yoga, a rich history as it resonates in modern times

Yoga Philosophy
The aim of yoga from the philosophical perspective is self realization, an invitation to explore your own experience. Our approach through contemplation, sharing and learning throughout the program, replaces an intellectual discourse with an awakened life experience. As a teacher you will develop your own skill set to weave yoga philosophy in your own yoga classes in a practical and meaningful way

Testimonials

I came to this YTT program firm in my stance that this was for my knowledge expansion and I would not be teaching!
I was heard and supported, yet encouraged to embrace the experience and consider the possibility for my perspective to change.
The dedicated and knowledgeable teachers of this program offered a comprehensive and practical experience. They led, they listened, and they shared how they learned through our engagement in discussions. I always felt valued and supported, and truly appreciated the guidance and feedback as I learned how to cue from a whole body perspective. Engagement into philosophy was encouraged throughout and I came away with a well rounded and deeper understanding of yoga. I feel I now have the ability to weave all aspects of the Eight Limbs of Yoga into practices for myself and when I teach.
Did you notice I said teach? Through this amazing experience I received the knowledge and skills which created the confidence to teach yoga. I had no idea that 200 hours of learning would create such profound change within me. I am grateful that I listened to the little voice within which said “engage in this”. I have immense gratitude for this training and the team who facilitated the experience.
